MEDITATION ISN’T ABOUT GETTING RID OF YOUR THOUGHTS. IT’S ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO BE AT EASE WITH THEM.

Recently I have been hearing more and more people speak about how they ‘can’t’ meditate or how ‘bad’ they are at meditating. This is only a practiced thought and since the universe will always reflect back to you what it is you are thinking, I encourage you to reach for a different thought, a softer thought, maybe just a place of satisfaction.

Instead of thinking of meditation as some big word or activity that you have already decided that you are not good at or you don’t want to do or that it doesn’t work for you, try to think of meditation as SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR SOUL. Since well-being is our natural state, think of this as just slowing down time. Think of it as simple spending time with yourself and that self-care is something important to you.

There is always value in connecting with yourself, knowing thyself allows you to respond to life rather than react. There is much power and value in meditation in that you get into that receptive mode. That place where you can tune into the voice of your inner being.

When you quite your mind you stop resistance and when you stop resistance then your vibration raises to the frequency of who you really are. Now you really are in the receptive mode and now you are able to receive the impulses from your inner being who knows everything that you want and where you are in relation to it and can guide you to one satisfying thought after another.

Learn to trust that the love in your heart will guide you as you are pure life force in a human body. You are the divine manifesting itself. Learn to listen to yourself and trust your inner voice. Trust that you are filled with universal wisdom and power. Know that you are one with the power that created you. Choose peace and know that your subconscious is filled with unlimited resources.
